# Delete a Recurring Scheduled Task

Deleting a Recurring Scheduled Task cancels it and removes it from the list. Only recurring scheduled tasks can be deleted via the Scheduled Tasks tab. See [Cancel a One Time Scheduled Task](#cancel-a-one-time-scheduled-task) for information on canceling a One Time Task.

1. Navigate to **Tasks** ![](https://3007061244-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MRkQfx_2cLnNNBX1muO%2Fuploads%2FaDkvBvxzqpAuHK2d9jg1%2Fimage.png?alt=media\&token=9c96f795-d844-42bd-b9d9-3f3488732121).
2. Select the **Scheduled Tasks** tab.
3. Select a Recurring Task from the list.
4. Click the **DELETE TASK** button.
5. A Confirmation box will appear, click **DELETE** to confirm.

The selected scheduled task will now be cancelled and from the list.
