# Wake-On-LAN

Wake-on-LAN provides you the ability to turn on a computer remotely from another online computer on the same sub-network.

Wake-on-LAN sends a data packet to the online computer and instructs it to switch on the targeted offline computer on its subnet.

At least one machine should be online on the subnet to turn on any of the other computers.

**Notes:**

* **Wake-on-LAN** needs to be enabled in the BIOS.
* You will need to designate a '**Last Man Standing'** computer on each subnet that will remain online for the Wake-On-LAN action to work effectively.
