Install Built-In Application(s) on macOS

Before you Start

Make sure you have the following configured before you start:

• Faronics Deploy Agent Installed on the Computers you wish to install the applications on.

Install Built-In Application(s) on Individual macOS Computers

To install an application on a macOS computer using Deploy:

Install Firefox on a Mac

1. Select the Control Grid tab on the top menu bar.

2. Navigate to the Applications tab.

3. Scroll down to the All-Mac grid.

4. To search by application name, use the search bar located next to the Grid Options drop-down menu to enter an application name (firefox in this example).

5. Click on the grid for the application you wish to install that corresponds with the computer name that you wish to install it on (Mozilla Firefox and iMac-01 in this example).

6. Click the drop-down menu .

7. Select the INSTALL option.

8. Click the blue INSTALL button to confirm the install of the application.

9. The application (Mozilla Firefox) will now download.

10. Once downloaded, the application (Mozilla Firefox) will automatically start to install.

11. Once the installation is complete, the version number of the application will now appear in the grid.

The application has successfully be installed on the macOS computer.
