Patch Scan (On-Demand)

A patch scan can be run immediately on computers from the Windows Update Control Grid (see Patch Scan (Using a Policy) to run automated patch scans).

1. Navigate to the Applications tab in the Control Grid and scroll down to the All-Windows Grid.

2. Selecting a computer or group of computers (the individual computer DESKTOP1 in this example) will bring up the ACTION TOOLBAR.

3. Select PATCH SCAN to initiate a patch scan on the computer.

4. Confirm the Patch Scan by clicking OK on the confirmation dialog.

A Patch Scan will now run.
