Shell scripts can be created to perform tasks on a macOS Computer. These scripts save time as they replace manual configuration that may be required prior to or post-installation of applications.
1. Create your shell script (If you need assistance with this, see Need Some Assistance with Shell Scripts?).
2. Upload your shell script to a web server or FTP location.
3. Select the Control Grid tab on the top menu bar.
4. Navigate to the Applications tab.
5. Scroll down to the All-Mac grid.
7. Select Create Custom Mac Script from the drop-down list.
8. Enter a Script Name and URL; any additional command line parameters that you need can be set here too.
9. Click SAVE TO GRID.
The Custom Script is now listed in the All-Mac grid and can be searched for using the search bar. The script can be executed on a single or a group of macOS computers.
