Teachers have the option to block all websites, allow only specified websites, or block only specified websites. They can also choose to restrict Private/Incognito Browsing.
Configuring settings for the Web Filtering function will automatically force Student computers to enter Focus mode after they have been applied to the class.
Teachers can temporarily remove any restrictions on Student computers through the Focus button and selecting Stop next to the Web option.
Click Web Filtering from the left-hand menu.
Select one of the following:
Prohibit all Websites – This option blocks all web browsing, instant messaging, and e-mail programs.
Permit Students to access specific websites – This option allows you to type in a list of permitted websites when Focus Web is enabled.
Enter the full URL of the web page in the text field then click Add. To allow access to websites related to the same domain, specify only the domains (using the format domain.com), not URLs.
