Stop Insight Agent

This action will temporarily disable Insight Agent on the selected Student computers. This is useful in situations where Students must use an application that requires Insight Student be removed or disabled temporarily, such as secure browsers used during standardized testing.

When enabled, the Insight icon will disappear from the system tray on the Student computers, and monitoring and control of Students will stop until Student computers are restarted.

Insight Agent will enable automatically after rebooting the Student computers.

  1. Select at least one Student.

  2. Click Actions.

  3. Click Stop Insight Agent.

  4. Click the Stop Insight Agent button to confirm.

The Student computers whose Insight Agent have been stopped will still appear in the class but will be grayed out.
