Enhancements
Record Classroom: Teachers can now record the Student thumbnails in the active Teacher Console for later review, aiding in monitoring and assessment. Students are notified of screen recording and can hide the notification dialogue.
Screen Recording Location: A new tab has been introduced in the Settings dialog to manage screen recording locations, allowing teachers to easily control where recordings are saved.
Instantaneous Files Submission: Located under the Student Chat section, this new option allows students to send files to the teacher. The Send File dialog enables drag-and-drop or selection of multiple files, making it convenient for students to submit work promptly. Teachers are no longer limited to only use the Collect Files function.
File and Folder Naming: Files sent to the teacher will be saved in a specific folder with a clear naming format that includes the computer name, login name, and date/time, ensuring that teachers can easily identify who sent the files and when.
Web Filtering Management: The permitted and prohibited websites Settings dialog now allows importing and exporting website URLs.
Transfer File to Student: This dialog now includes options to open files on student computers and override the default path for saving files, enhancing flexibility and efficiency.
Simultaneous File Transfer: Files are now transferred to multiple students simultaneously, reducing delays.
Import Legacy Classroom: The new Classroom menu option enables Insight v11 to easily import settings from Insight v9 or earlier classroom setups, saving time and effort.
