Share Screen

The Share Screen setting allows Teachers the option to share their screen in Full Screen or Windowed modes.

To set the Share Screen setting, either edit existing settings or create new settings.

1. Click Settings.

   1. To edit existing settings, hover the mouse over the settings to be edited and click the Settings icon, or

   2. To create new settings, select Create New Settings from the drop-down menu.

2. Click Share Screen from the left-hand menu.

3. Select Full Screen or Windowed.

   • Full Screen – The Teacher's screen will be shown on the Student's screens. The Students will not be able to control their mice and keyboards during Share My Screen.

   • Windowed – The Teacher's broadcasted screen will appear in a window on the Students' screens. The Students can then resize the window and work by following along with the Teacher. This way, the Students can follow along with the Teacher and use their computers during the Teacher's broadcast session. You can choose to Keep Teacher Screen on Top of Other Windows. This option prevents the Teacher screen window from hiding even when other applications are accessed.

4. Select Allow Students to Close the Insight Window - When enabled, the Student can close the Insight Window. Click on the system tray (or menu bar item) to restore Insight.

5. Select Allow Students to Minimize the Insight Window - When enabled, the Student can minimize Insight to the task bar (for Windows) or the dock (for Mac).

6. Lock Student keyboard and mouse when sharing Student screen - Option to automatically lock the Student keyboard and mouse when performing Share Screen, and automatically unlocking after the Share Screen is over.

7. Minimize Student screen after session ends - When enabled, the Student screen will be minimized after the session has ended.

8. Click Save or Save and Apply.
