Configuring the Insight Student for Insight Connector

The Insight Connector's IP Address, Hostname or FQDN can be configured during the installation of Insight on the Student computer, however it can also be configured after it is installed via the Settings.

Configuring the Connector After Installation

1. Click the Settings icon.

2. Click Administrator Settings.

3. Enter the Administrator password in the box provided.

4. Click Verify.

5. Select the Use Insight Connector box to enable it.

6. Enter the IP Address for the Connector's Computer.

7. Click Save.

The Insight Student has now been configured to communicate with the Insight Connector. Using the Connector will allow the Student to communicate with an Insight Teacher console on a different subnet or VLAN.
