Lock Screen
This option allows Teachers to specify a message that will be shown on the Student computers, or upload an image that will be displayed in the background rather than the default blue background when the Student computer is locked. Teachers can specify the message and/or choose the image to be displayed.
Configure the Lock Screen
To configure the Lock Screen setting, either edit existing settings or create new settings.
Click Lock Screen from the left-hand menu.
Select Display message on locked screen and specify the message to be displayed on the Student computers when they are locked, or
Select Show image on locked screen and choose the image to be displayed on the Student computers when they are locked.
Click Save or Save and Apply.
If the option to Display message on locked screen or Show image on locked screen is not selected, the default lock screen message will display Pay attention to the class.
To avoid confusion when locking Student computers, it is recommended to show a message or image when the screen is locked.
Examples of the Student Screen being Locked
Teacher View
When viewing the Student computers in thumbnail view, the locked Student computers are displayed with the selected message or image.
Student View
If the option to Display message on locked screen, the Student computer will display the customized message when their computer is locked. The example below displays the default lock screen message.
If the option to Show image on locked screen, the Student computer will display the selected lock screen image when their computer is locked. The example below shows an uploaded image with a padlock.
