Lock Screen

The Teacher can lock the screen(s) of one or more Students in the class. The message and the background image (if using) to be displayed when the screen is locked can be configured. See Lock Screen for further information.

When the Teacher chooses to enable the Focus restrictions for Lock Screen, whatever Lock Screen settings that have been configured and chosen for the class will be applied to Student computers. If there are no settings created or selected for the current class, the default settings will be applied.

For example, the Teacher has set the Lock Screen settings to display the message Eyes to the Front of the Class with an image background. When the Teacher selects to lock the screens of Students, the Student computers will display the preset message and designated background on their screens.
