Teachers have the option to block all websites, allow only specified websites, or block only specified websites. They can also choose to restrict Private/Incognito Browsing.
Configuring settings for the Web Filtering function will automatically force Student computers to enter Focus mode after they have been applied to the class.
Students that are in Focus mode will be displayed on the Teacher console with a red frame around the thumbnail.
Teachers can temporarily remove any restrictions on Student computers through the Focus button and selecting Stop next to the Web option.
Chrome/Edge web extension must be installed on Student computers to be able to implement this feature.
When enabling or disabling Web Filtering for Microsoft Edge sidebar browsing, Microsoft Edge needs to be closed and re-launched for the changes to take effect.
Click Web Filtering from the left-hand menu.
