# Audio

The *Audio* setting enables the Teacher to mute / unmute their microphone. 

The Teacher's audio is muted by default.

### Mute / Unmute the Teacher's Microphone

1. To unmute the audio, click on the *Play* button.  A green banner will appear on the top menu bar indicating that the Teacher is talking to the class.
2. To mute the audio, click the *Stop* button.

### Enable the Student's Audio

When talking to the class or a Student, the Teacher can enable/disable the Student(s) microphones. By default, the Student's microphones are disabled.

1. To enable the Student's microphone, click the orange microphone icon on the Student card. 
2. The microphone icon will turn green and the Student's microphone will be enabled.
