Your Faronics Remote policy is already created and there is a quick and easy way to download the installer from the Computers page so you can start to remote control your computers.

Policies

1. Your Policies page should already have a default policy called 'Faronics Remote Basic'. Click on this policy to review it.

   
2. By default, 'Remote Pro' and 'RDP' are enabled in this policy.

   • Enable 'VNC' if you like by setting an 8-digit password.

   

Installation

There are two ways to install Faronics Remote on a computer.

1. Go to the 'Computers' page and click on the 'Download Agent' and install it on all your computers.

   1. The computer where this agent is installed will be assigned the 'Faronics Remote Basic' policy.

   
2. Install Cloud Agent from the Home page.

   1. Click on the 'Install Cloud Agent' button on the Home page.

      
   2. Select the 'Faronics Remote Basic' policy from the drop-down list and pick the best install option that meets your needs.

      
   3. Note: After the initial agent installation is complete, the Faronics Remote service will be installed a few minutes later in the background and will require a restart of the computer.
