Adding Student Devices

On Windows Computers

1. Configure Student Policy - Review policy settings for the Student computer. Ensure the Class IDs, Insight Cloud Server, and Private Mode settings for both the Teacher and Student match so the Student can be managed by the Teacher console.

2. Install Insight Student - Review install options for the Cloud Agent and select the policy you configured before downloading the installer.

On Mac Computers

1. Configure Student Policy - Review policy settings for the Student computer such as screen recording permissions and enabling web limiting options.

2. Install Insight Student - Review install options for the Cloud Agent and select the policy you configured before downloading the installer.

On iOS/Android/ChromeOS Devices

1. Install Insight Student App - Scan the QR Code to install the Insight Student Mobile App on your iOS or Android device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Alternatively, you can go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your device and search for Faronics Insight Student.

3. Connect to DeepFreeze.com - Scan the QR Code to connect to your DeepFreeze.com setup. Alternatively, if unable to scan the QR Code, you can manually enter the details and use the registration code displayed.
