Chromebook

Deep Freeze MDM can be used to manage Chromebooks in conjunction with G Suite administration tools.

  • Policy Control – set up user policies for specific Chromebook groups as well as remotely activate or de-provision any device from the system.

  • Content Filtering – create and implement user policies regarding safe search protocols, website and IP blocking, as well as YouTube video, category and channel restrictions. For more information, see Filtering Settings.

  • Create Groups – create groups to manage multiple mobile devices to deploy apps, settings and restrictions to all devices within the group. For more information, see Creating Chromebook Groups.

  • Send a message – send a message to the mobile device from the Deep Freeze Cloud Console web interface. Chromebook extension must be installed on the Chromebooks to be able to receive messages. For more information, see Chrome Extension.

  • Dynamic widgets – monitor various parameters about the mobile devices with dynamic, interconnected widgets. For more information, see Dashboard.
