# Pre-programmed Settings

Insight comes with 4 pre-programmed settings configurations:

* [Default](#default)
* [No Restrictions](#no-restrictions)
* [Research Mode](#research-mode)
* [Test Mode](#test-mode)

### Default

In this mode, *Inter-student Chat* is disabled by default.

### No Restrictions

In this mode, all categories are disabled by default, and no activity is restricted.

### Research Mode

In this mode, the *Web Filtering* category is enabled by default and is configured with a predefined list of allowed websites. Teachers can customize this list by adding or removing websites as preferred. *Disable Drives* is also enabled by default. *Inter-student Chat* is disabled by default.

### Test Mode

Test Mode is configured to provide a testing environment for Students. In this mode, a predetermined testing application is enabled under *Block Applications*, which the Teacher can further customize by adding more applications as preferred; all websites are prohibited under *Web Filtering*, and *Disable Drives* are enabled by default. *Chat* is also completely disabled.
