# Choose Random Student

A Student can be chosen at random using the *Classrooms* drop-down menu. For more ways to select Students, see [Select Student Computer(s)](https://docs.faronics.com/faronics-insight-docs/using-faronics-insight/the-insight-teacher-console/select-student-computers).

Note: If any Student is currently selected, they will need to be unselected before choosing a random Student.

1. Click *Classrooms*.
2. Click *Choose Random Student*.&#x20;
3. A Student computer will be selected at random (Claire, in this example).
