# クラスID

Insight TeacherおよびInsight Studentのインストール時に、デバイスにクラスIDを割り当てるようプロンプトが表示されます。

クラスIDは、コンピュータを管理しやすいグループ単位に整理する目的で使用されます。想定しているInsightの使い方によっては、クラスIDを使用して生徒のデバイスの各グループをさらにグループ分けし、教師がこれらを制御・管理したい場合もあります。

もしくは、授業に参加していない生徒の待合室として機能する汎用のクラスIDを使用して、すべてのStudentをインストールすることもできます。教師は、Insight Teacherのクラスルーム機能を使用して自分のクラスIDに生徒を集め、いつでも生徒を集合・解散させることができます。

どちらを選択しても、生徒と教師の各デバイスには、デフォルトのクラスIDが割り当てられます。

クラスIDは英数字の文字列で構成されます。部屋番号や教師の名前、行われる授業の名前などを使用できます。

クラスIDは通常、インストール時に設定されますが、Insight Studentの[トップメニューバー](/faronics-insight-docs/japanese/faronics-insightwosuru/insight-studentapurikshon/toppumeny-b.md)にある管理者設定にアクセスして生徒のデバイスから変更できます。
