# Configuring the Insight Teacher for Insight Connector

The Insight Connector's IP Address, Hostname, or FQDN can be configured during the installation of Insight on the Teacher's computer as shown below.&#x20;

### Update the Connector Settings

If, after installation, the connection to the Insight Connector needs to be changed, it can be updated in the Settings dialog of the Teacher console.

1. Click the Settings icon.
2. Click *Administrator Settings*.
3. Enter the Administrator password in the box provided.\

4. Click *Verify*.
5. Select the *Use Insight Connector* box to enable it. \

6. Enter the IP Address, Hostname, or FQDN for the computer running the Insight Connector.
7. Click *Save*.

The Teacher console has now been configured to use the Insight Connector. The Teacher console will now be able to see the Student computers that are configured to communicate with the Insight Connector.
