# Paramètres Firewall et Insight

Faronics Insight 11 utilise le protocole WebSocket sur le port 8888/8889/8890 pour communiquer entre les machines de l'enseignant et des élèves. Tout le trafic est crypté afin de sécuriser les données envoyées entre l'élève et l'enseignant.

Lors du contrôle direct d'un ordinateur d'élève, une connexion entre l'enseignant et l'élève est établie sur un port choisi aléatoirement entre 10000 et 20000.

Les installeurs d’Insight créeront les règles de firewall appropriées dans le pare-feu Windows Defender intégré à Windows pour permettre à l'application de fonctionner correctement. Il peut être nécessaire de configurer des règles dans les firewalls tiers pour permettre aux clients de se signaler correctement et d'être contrôlés par Insight Teacher.
