# Configuración del firewall e Insight

Faronics Insight 11 utiliza el protocolo WebSocket en el puerto 8888/8889/8890 para establecer la comunicación entre los equipos de profesor y estudiante. Todo el tráfico está cifrado para garantizar la seguridad de los datos enviados entre los estudiantes y el profesor. 

Cuando se controla directamente el equipo de un estudiante, se realiza una conexión entre el profesor y el estudiante en un puerto seleccionado aleatoriamente entre 10000 y 20000. 

Los instaladores de Insight crearán reglas de firewall apropiadas en el firewall de Windows Defender integrado en Windows para permitir que la aplicación funcione correctamente. Es posible que sea necesario configurar reglas en firewalls de terceros para permitir que los clientes se comuniquen adecuadamente y sean controlados por Insight Teacher.
