# Instalación de Insight Connector

Insight Connector es compatible con Windows 8 o superior, macOS 10.13 o superior y Windows Server 2019 o superior.

Insight Connector debe instalarse en un sistema que no esté ejecutando la aplicación Insight Student o Insight Teacher.

Se recomienda que el sistema cliente que ejecute Insight Connector esté configurado con una IP estática.

El proceso de instalación requiere que la aplicación *InsightInstallerConnector.exe* (para Windows) o  *InsightConnector.pkg* (para Mac) se ejecute en el sistema con derechos de administrador. No se requiere configuración y se mostrará un simple mensaje de confirmación cuando se complete la instalación.

Una vez instalado, anote la dirección IP y el FQDN o nombre de host del equipo que ejecuta Insight Connector, ya que esta información es necesaria para configurar correctamente los sistemas que ejecutan las aplicaciones Insight Student y Teacher.

Tenga en cuenta que una vez instalado, Insight Connector se ejecuta en segundo plano sin un icono de estado en el equipo host.

Insight Connector se ejecutará en un equipo conectado a través de una conexión de red inalámbrica; sin embargo, no recomendamos utilizar un equipo con una conexión inalámbrica para alojar Insight Connector.
