# Insight Student configureren voor Insight Connector
Het IP-adres, de hostnaam of de FQDN van Insight Connector kan worden geconfigureerd tijdens de installatie van Insight op de computers van studenten. Maar dit kan ook na de installatie gebeuren via de Instellingen.
### De instellingen van Connector bijwerken
1. Klik op het pictogram Instellingen.
2. Klik op *Instellingen beheerder*.
3. Voer in het daarvoor bestemde vak het beheerderswachtwoord in.\
4. Klik op *Verifiëren*.
5. Selecteer het vak *Insight Connector gebruiken* om het in te schakelen. \
6. Voer het IP-adres van de computer met de Connector in.
7. Klik op *Opslaan*.

Insight Student is nu ingesteld om met Insight Connector te communiceren. Via de Connector kunnen studenten communiceren met een Insight Teacher-console op een ander subnet of VLAN.
