### Enhancements

#### **Insight**

* **Multiple Teachers Support:** Allows multiple Teachers to manage the same Class simultaneously. When an Assistant Teacher joins an existing class, the primary Teacher will be asked for approval. A new 'View Assistant Teachers' option will appear under the Classrooms dropdown for the primary Teacher. Insight Connector is required for Multiple Teachers support.
* **File Transfer Restrictions:** Enables Teachers to define restricted file extensions when transferring files between Teachers and Students.
* **Automatic Class Exit:** To avoid Students getting stuck in a class when the Teacher forgets to dismiss the class, now the Insight Administrator can optionally set the Student to automatically exit the class after a defined period.
* **Student Approval for Class Invitations:** The Insight Administrator can now optionally allow the Students to accept or decline a Teacher’s invitation to join a class.
* **Command Line Arguments (Windows only):** When launching an Application from the Actions menu, the Teacher can now specify command line arguments for that application.
* **Privacy Settings for Mac Computers:** To ensure Teachers are able to properly view Student screens, hear the mic, and remote into the Mac, a new privacy settings option is now available under the Student’s Administrator settings.
* **New Mobile Settings:** Newly added settings, such as the options to automatically exit the class, require Student approval to join a class, and required privacy settings, are now available on the latest mobile applications for iOS, Android, and Chromebook.
* **Insight Connector Download:** Download link is now available directly on the Insight page.
* **Agent Reporting:** Sites now displays the number of agents that have reported to the Cloud console within the last 30 days.
* **Maintenance Period:** The maintenance period is now enabled by default for newly created policies.
* **New column in the Computers page:** 'Insight Version' column displays the version of Insight installed on the computer.&#x20;
* **Insight installation Link:** Insight can now be installed using a link sent via email or through a QR code.

**Faronics Insight Cloud now available**

Cloud-native classroom management now lives inside Deep Freeze Cloud—supports in-class or remote classroom collaboration and monitoring via live thumbnails.

* Network-agnostic: Teacher consoles connect to student devices across subnets, VPNs, and home networks through the same secure cloud broker that powers Deep Freeze Cloud.
* Central policy control & auto-updates: IT admins create or edit Insight settings once in the Cloud Console; changes and software updates roll out automatically during scheduled maintenance windows.
* Deep Freeze Awareness: Automatically retain all classroom settings on Frozen computers such as Class Lists, tests, polls, web/app limit lists, and task history, so teachers never have to rebuild them. Collected student files remain available as long as they’re saved to a Thawed drive or folder on Deep Freeze–protected computers.
* Try it today:
  * For Deep Freeze computers, enable Insight Cloud in your existing Windows and Mac policies.

  * Added more than 4,000 apps to the Software Updater policy, by incorporating winget (Windows Package Manager) support.

  * Option to hide the Drivers Updates from the Windows Update grid. When the 'Show Driver Updates' is disabled, it will hide the Drivers column, and exclude the drivers from the total count of pending updates.
  * 'Pending Windows Updates' column displays the total count of pending updates for the computer. Click on the column cell to view the list of update patches where you can approve or deny the update.
* Inventory
  * New columns 'RAM Details' and 'Monitor Details' with the option to display information associated with computer RAM and monitors attached to the computers.
  * Inventory Details popup: Option now available on all pages for displaying information on Computer Details and Installed Applications.
* Remote Pro
  * Server Support added to the Server policy to more efficiently access servers remotely.&#x20;
* General Enhancements
  * Column Chooser: Option now available for all pages to allow customizing which columns to display in the grid.
  * Show Grid Checkboxes: Option now available for all pages to allow showing or hiding grid checkboxes for selecting multiple computers.
  * 'Actions' shortcut menu: Option now available on all pages for performing actions on selected computers directly from the grid.
